Wine and roses Resort and Spa is located in Lodi, CA and it is a beautiful venue located in our own backyard. There is so much greenery around there, it feels like you are walking into an oasis. If you are considering a venue that has accommodations on site in order to lend a very easy experience to your guests, you have found your venue. Wine and Roses in Lodi, CA is a wedding venue but also a resort and Spa. The hotel rooms are located around the entire premises and the wedding venue spaces are in the center of all of the hotel rooms. Your guests would be able to go and change for the reception if they so wishes, that is how close and convenient the accommodations are.
Ceremony space at Wine and Roses
Wine and Roses provides both an inside ceremony area as well as an outdoors ceremony area. The outdoors space is a gorgeous space surrounded by redwood trees in the lawn and is mostly used in the summer. If you want to hold your wedding in early spring or late Fall, you do have the option of using their tent just adjacent to the lawn in the case of rain or severe wind. A venue with a Plan B in case of weather conditions is always a plus in my books. The inside space is cozy and very spacious. It has great accommodations and grand lighting fixtures and high ceiling with wooden beams. Every area is full of potential for design elements and various options for adding florals and greenery to elevate the reception space and really bring in the beauty of the outdoors inside the reception space.
A Wine and Roses wedding story
Apolonia and Adrian celebrated their love in this beautiful venue in the Fall. They held their ceremony inside the tent due to rain on their wedding day and the inside reception celebration proceeded after that. Wine and Roses has a beautiful and spacious bridal room just above the reception room where the bride with her bridesmaids and friends can get ready and have their photos taken. The beautiful balcony has a beautiful view and UV Visions knew just how to capture all of the beautiful angels Wine and Roses lends to capture beautiful photos.
Burgundy wedding florals at Wine and Roses
Apolonia and Adrian chose burgundy tones as their main color for the decor. They wanted to set a tone of romance with moody vibes of the darker tones with the greenery to compliment them. The marlo colored bridesmaids dresses were not only an added touch to bring that more elegant but also a bit of that mid-evil vibes but adding the velvet texture was that classy twist to it all. Blissful Rose designed the florals with all of these moods and vibes in mind. When selecting our florals we keep in mind what the tone will be and the vibe the couple wants for the wedding. We build a custom mood board to really set the tone of the wedding and we build a custom inspiration board that is florals specific. This step is to ensure we are both on the same page about what the overall esthetic and mood should be for the wedding.
When selecting the florals we keep these things in mind and select florals that have textures and give off the ambiance that you are wanting to set. In this case, we chose Dahlias and roses. Both favorites of the bride but both have color varieties that yield those darker tones. We chose textures that blended the two colors together and ribbons that tied in the entire look with the florals and outfits of the wedding party.
Honoring your loved ones in the wedding details
Adrian and Apolonia both have loved ones that could not be present in person to celebrate with them. They both made sure that they and their guests felt their presence throughout the day. It has been the most beautiful honoring of parents and siblings i have witnessed so far. Adrian had beautiful charms hanging from his suit as he walked down the aisle to vow forever to his love. Apolonia also had charms hanging from her bridal bouquet that accompanied here down the aisle to exchange the same vows. The charms with the photos of their parents and brother gave them both the feeling of their loved ones there with them in the most important day of their lives. There was also seats reserved just for their viewing of what all their other loved ones got to witness in ceremony area. The most beautiful touch of white roses on the chairs front row.
Classic and simple centerpieces at Wine and Roses
The inside reception space is beautiful and completely complemented their esthetic with the darker toned carpets. You truly do feel like you are in a winery ball room and the deep burgundy colors accompanied by the dim lighting and wet weather outside was so romantic. The couple opted for candles in every table, and let me tell you, it was a great choice. The light of the candles added such a romantic ambiance to the reception space which is just what they aimed for. We added greenery to every table around the three cylinder vases with candles with touches of eucalyptus to give it that sage color tone to bring in the elements from the outdoors inside coupled with the white roses. Again, every detail discussed and planned to create a romantic night experience for the guests.

I always suggest to couples that a photographer is such an important vendor because the editing style of each photographer is different and it can make your wedding photos enhance your wedding esthetic.
